Millennials probably hate or just don’t get the greatest movie ever made.

Gen X’rs definitely get it.

I don’t want to discuss the movie.

I want to discuss how Millennials just don’t get it. It scares them.

no shite...whatever generation you're part of is coming across as a "get off my lawn" type.

Only shitty people bash other generations.

I bet you and I are in the same generation too.

I like FC a lot and have read everything Palahniuk has ever written but your

quote:

greatest movie ever made

take is pretty absurd. kind of highlights gen x-er's sense of self-importance

it's a lot like bukowski or hunter s thompson; perfectly fine authors but their super-fans are the epitome of normies LARPing as intellectuals

just my .02

Where did I bash anyone? Do you understand what “bash” means?

You sound like a fragile little snowflake.

You wouldn’t make it in my fight club

You’re wrong and I never claimed it was my favorite. But it’s one of the best ever made.

Fight Club was a call to action and we didn't answer the call.

I don't think I am. It came out when many millennials were hitting the 15-19 age bracket.

The movie came out in 1999. You don’t think teens around that time enjoyed that movie?

Because we were like the movie said the middle children of history... (or at least the past couple generations)and we were cognizant of that fact. No great wars or struggles to fight or causes to get behind. A somewhat nihilist generation compared to boomers and millennials.

As a young man I can remember the first time I watched Fight Club. It spoke to me the way few movies have before or since. As I've gotten older..more mellow and found more meaning in life it doesnt have the same bite....but its still one of my favorites.
