If you’ve never been I recommend checking it out. It was a fantastic time. I met some really cool people and made friends for a lifetime

I took one of my10yr olds, he was stoked. I'm completely not into any of this and was amazed by the nerds there but it made him happy. My Kid has very diverse intrestes, he likes video games and was into the virtual reality and some other games they had there, he also plays on the football team and loves to duck hunt and fish. I figure I will support his diverse interests with the thought that it benefits him later in life. A couple of parting thoughts: I thought the $33/ ea person over 14 was a little much for what they provided, the guy Adrian that was the main guy from Highlander series ( never watched it) was interesting to listen to while waiting on my kid, I was glad there was a bar so I could get the 2 cold beers I had while walking around and gamers are sore looser. My kid beat a 16-18 yr old gamer nerd in some game he then punched my kid in the stomach as I was walking up. It took everything I had not to drop the kid right there, however I just told him if he touched my kid again I was going to beat his f$&king arse and left it at that. Good times

you son got beat up

I had a friend who is really big into the cons and would post pictures of all the costumes and other stuff they would make.

It's amazing how many good looking women are into it and dress up...
