How deep do you need for the deep end on fiberglass? Some i see are 7+ feet most seem like less than 6 feet. If kids are jumping in I think you'd need at least 7. My neighborhood runs the gambit from guy it to liner to fiber. I'm asking around.

You don't want a deep pool. 5.5 is plenty. The deeper the pool the steeper the decline which leaves you with no space to stand. I have a 34x14 and have 15 people in the pool with no problem because everyone can spread out

IF I ever get another pool this is exactly what I'll do. No need for my 8 foot deep end and a hell of a lot more activities you can do in a pool like this.

Gunite floor fiberglass sides.
Anybody else notice how awesome water feels how? Much cooler than a month ago.
Wonder what water temps are now?
Love to keep it that temp all summer., doesn't feel like a bath.

I don't think price is anywhere near the same. A prefab fiberglass pool is about $20,000+ less with installation.
