Yeah. She went downhill ever since she broke the law during covid and sang in the french quarter without a mask or a permit.

No I meant like she isn’t making Christianity better she’s only making Rock and roll worse

I tried to switch my band over to Christian music in high school so we could get famous but after writing a few songs it felt too sacrilegious and we decided we didn’t want to go to hell. Now that I’m older I realize we should’ve stuck with it because working for the rest of your life and not having a private jet kinda sucks

Being the preacher is where the Judas-tempting private jet money is. You get to sell the steps to salvation, over and over again without having to buy any inventory.

As a welder, you can make the transition to preacher man, pretty quick. Go for it!

Angelique Kidjo is going to be outrageous tonight

So I went to Angelique and they were great but just too clean. I wasn’t feeling it. So I walked over to the end stage on Jefferson St. and there was this band fronted by a Canadian chick named Lisa LeBlanc. She was playing lead banjo and the band was roaring through Ace of Spades at full speed. That’s what I was looking for. She plays again tonight at 6 on the big stage. That’s one to see. A group of bilingual Canadian misfits tearing it up.

I generally think FI is a bit overrated, but most of that bingo card doesn’t sound half bad

I’ve always thought I could do the public speaking and theology parts of the job well but unfortunately I’m allergic to snakes

Brah. That’ll be lit.

Speaking of “lit,” it didn’t even smell like weed last night. You can smell the weed in New Orleans from the interstate, but Lafayette didn’t smell like weed and there were a lot of kids out with their parents having a good time.
