It's supposed to be a little warmer this weekend, I believe.

My brother and some buddies of mine are in MO hunting this week and it has been extremely cold. They are leaving tomorrow just when it is suppose to start warming up. They didn't see shite and my brother shot a little buck just to kill something. I sent him pics of the topless beach to make him feel better.

They have to drive thru STL to get home. Good thing they are armed

They likely won't pass through any affected area, depending on where they're coming from/going to.

They didn't see shite. My brother was the only one out of the 4 that killed and he shot a 135 8 point. 2 of the others didn't go once their heaters broke. I guess they couldn't handle that 5 degree hunting weather.

That's surprising, usually the cold weather makes for better hunting. All the men in my family had their annual trip this last weekend too. They're in southern Missouri though, hours from STL.

As long as they are on the highway, they'll be fine. Just don't get off of 70 anywhere east of 270.

Because they've been protesting for the past 125 days here... so why wouldn't Sharpton try to build upon that momentum?

Damn. I didn't know that.

Eta: meaning that I didn't know that they have been protesting.

They were in north MO about 45 minute from Iowa and they said the only deer they saw was from 11am-2:30pm. They said it was so cold that the deer just didn't move and was a miserable trip all around.

I have no idea where that is. They usually come through Branson to get home, but are taking the interstate through STL to Memphis to Jackson to get home. They are tired of yankee country.

yeah, we had a few days, where it was wicked cold in the morning, with the wind making it cut right through your jackets and clothes.

I always laugh at my cousins, they get all geared up, sit in a tree for a week, almost catch frost bite, and they end up getting as many deer as i did, and i sat on my couch all week, but warm.

Oh, they'll go through my home town, Cape Girardeau! If they normally go through Branson, they're probably in NW Missouri. Chances are they'll take 70 east to 270, which bypasses around St. Louis city. They'll go theough the county, then take 55 south from there. They'll be fine.

Not a thing happening here. During the initial surge of interest there was a "rally" outside city hall covered on the local news. I swear there were maybe six people outside.

They kept moving them around and changing camera angles to make it seem larger, but it was pretty obvious.

I was close!

Normally there is really good hunting up there, what with all the cornfields and wooded areas, but it was unusually cold early this year. They should try the Missouri Ozarks next time. It would feel more like home than kirksville. They are definitely more "Yankee-like" up there.

No Baton Rouge!

Protesting would mean that people here would have to stop shooting each other for a little while. Ain't nobody got time for that.

And I don't see protesting going over too well anywhere in MS.
