Back in college, pretty much as soon as class started a dude in the back row's hand shot up, and he asked, "May I please go to the restroom?".

Who in the hell asks to go potty in college?

This is a major problem. School boards and the teaching pool of public school is filled with morons free from all consequences. Anything that goes wrong is paid out by the tax payer and doesn't affect them personally. It's time to change that.

I think the bigger problem is all the rules we've placed on them in recent years that are solely a reaction to something else.

For example, let's think about WHY the school first created the no bathroom rule. I'm sure there was some incident that led to litigation at some school on the other side of the country, and therefore they were forced to implement the no bathroom rule in response to something else.

The school had a written policy of not allowing breaks during class to use the bathroom.

Shouldn't they be the ones who pay the price for the policy they set?

Why should the teacher be penalized for enforcing such policy, only to be told after the fact it was expected that she be "reasonable" when enforcing it?

You know what's funny? Every school has some canned jab at Jesuit or some cute little rhyme or retort about how gay we are.

Jesuit has no such bullshite for you. Yall are always so concerned about immediately trying to put Jesuit down whenever it comes up.

It's ok, man. It's ok that you went to some other school and barely made it through college and now you're a janitor or crossing guard or whatever you do to occupy your time when you're not masturbating in your parents basement. There's no need to take your anger out on us.

I'd do it for free. We used to be able to get up and go if you needed to. Just kinda give the teacher a heads up that you're leaving. But some individuals took advantage of it. So we had to sign out of class with the time we left and the time we returned
And you only got 5 passes a semester to leave class. And your teacher had to sign off on it. It was stupid because now you have to walk to bathroom with a little book in your hand and an administrator saw you, you'd have to show them the book. And they'd check for the time, date, and teacher's signature. Just an overall pain in the arse.

I was lucky because almost every teacher and everyone in administration knew my family so I never got harassed about it

What do you call a Jesuit student in a sleeping bag? A fruit roll up.

You must be a crossing guard because I've got the janitorial side of things on lock.

Why aren't there any stairs at Jesuit?

I try not to mention too much where I went to school since I left NOLA, but I sometimes drop little hints when I know where the person I am talking to went to school.

If I ever move back I will probably get more involved. Besides someone has to design some stairs for them.

I am part of the authority at my work.

The OT is so full shite. You guys complain about society going to the crapper every time there's a thread about someone ignoring the rules and call them a TPOS for thinking they can just do whatever the frick they want, but when a story comes out about someone having to suffer for following the rules you all claim you're so great because you would have ignored the rules and just done whatever the frick you wanted.

The OT is not a single individual. I am not one of those people who think that the world is going in the crapper at all, let alone because people don't respect authority. I am pretty consistent in thinking and saying that bad rules and laws should be broken. I actually think that it is a duty of a responsible citizen.
