My wife and I have been together for almost 26 years, but lived together for almost 5 before we tied the knot...... she is the most special and important person in my life. We get along great, never argue..... it’s called acceptance..... if more young people would have a clue on what that is about the world would be a better place......
My wife.......
My wife.......

You and the wife are a team.
Maybe there's a way you can support her and encourage her on some of the things you find negative. Or maybe there's something you aren't doing that would free her up to check off some positive boxes.
But the team gains nothing from tearing each other down.
Sounds like an opportunity to take her to dinner and have a good conversation you both grow from.

Even after 20 plus years it's insanely rare that I have negative thoughts about her.

She leaves cabinets and drawers open and it drives me fricking insane. Otherwise, she's aight.

My wife doesn’t cause me stress but then again she’s a traditional wife and we assume traditional roles so maybe that’s what helps. I actually look forward to seeing her every day and couldn’t imagine coming home to someone I didn’t respect.

Is this your theology, or did you borrow this from somewhere. I don't think this is correct.

Our 40th anniversary coming up in 2 weeks. Married in our early 20s never lived together. We have a lot in common and a lot not in common. We both love sports and attend a lot of LSU games. I hate to eat in restaurants so we are both fine with her and a friend going eat out.

I hated the first 10 years of mine. After that things began to settle down. I'm glad I didn't bail because she is amazing now and we have a lot of fun now that we don't have kids at home.

I love the kids but we are probably on the last 4-5 years of having them at home.

Outside of reproduction man and woman aren’t built to coexist.
