I'm a medical doctor that worked on research for this treatment. It was a really slow start but we quickly began making headway about 2020. All we lacked was the correct frequency with which we could modulate to cause the correct amount of cell apoptosis in the tumor. Who knew that a recording of Kamala Harris laugh could have such devastating affects?

That's a formula for drying up life saving innovation. Development is not free.

Great to see progress being made and if it pans out, a $12,000 cancer treatment is a great bargain.
The combination of 3 dimensional real-time imaging, computer controlled targeting has great potential. One proven area is the Cyber Knife which is a very tight beam of radiation that rotates around the axis of the tumor to concentrate there with minimal exposure to the rest of the body.
My old friend's father had his prostate cancer treated that way. It took five sessions across five days and he had virtually no side effects. If the same thing can be done with sound, so much the better.

Sounds preferable to chemo

If there is no profit incentive then there is no incentive to do R&D. And 12,000 dollars isn’t bad at all for cancer. Way cheaper than Chemo
