Slick track
Bobby meadors catfish house
Steak and Ale
Albertsons
Didn't do Roller City went to Leo's
Broadmoor theater
The santa playing the piano is still there. It's not on the top of house anymore. They put it in the yard.

I remember when Sherwood was a 2 lane road all the way to Choctaw. It was like 6 feet high and when they started building the 4 lane road they dug out the sides and it was like a 5 foot drop off if you ran off the road

Met Billy Cannon at his home on the blvd in the 1980’s. His daughter Terri was my friend. Dude could not have been nicer.

Anybody remember Pasquale's? Best roast beef poboy in town. Damn, I guess dafranz, hangit and I are all old.

Pasquale's was my families main pizza place for years. Back in the early days of video games, I'd ride my bike up there to play Star Castle.

What was the name of the sandwich shop on Little John across from the Winn-Dixie? This would be early 80's. It was owned by a guy in a wheelchair who, I think, lost his leg(s) in Vietnam. At least, that was the story going around. I want to say it was called.... Stumpy's Ah, the non-PC 80s!

He had a small arcade in there with some great games (Joust, Stargate, Tempest, Sinistar, even Dragon's Lair). If I couldn't get to Spaceport or Coney Island, this place was my arcade fix.

Our pizza joint was Johnny's on Old Hammond between Flannery and Millerville. I remember that place being smokey as hell between the pizza ovens and cigarette smoke.

Grew up on woodcliff drive in SF (1976-1988)

Loved Skate City and saw Smokey & The Bandit at Broadmoar Theatre. My brother loved New Generation.

Spent hours at KMart at the Crossbow shopping center. Jim Hawthorne was our neighbor. He had a swimming pool and a hot tub that we enjoyed. He sported a mustache back in the 80’s.

Nothing beat Cortana Mall but that’s a sad memory to carry now that it’s gone. Enjoy the teenage years. It only happens once.

Used to cross Goodwood on my Huffy, and ride on to Lil Johns to let him hook my New Iberia Haircut up tight, and then go to the baseball card shop and buy singles. Deion Sanders cards and the Upper Deck of Bo holding a baseball bat wearing shoulder pads. Big Haul Saturday.
