Threads like this make me realize I hit the fricking jackpot with my wife. She's as laid back as I am.

I learned from this website that if your wife is laid back then she's banging other guys.
Also if she's not laid back, or if she enjoys margaritas, or if she likes scary movies, or if she drives too fast or too slow, or if she watches TV then she's definitely cheating.

Are you really expecting a female to be reasonable?

I don't know why some of you guys keep asking while she's awake.

This type of demanding behavior doesn't spontaneously appear out of this air. It starts with small concessions and your consistently giving into her as a way to appease her. She no longer feels the need to compromise because she's rarely required to.
That leads to her thinking every day is about her, including Father's Day.
If she really wants to do that, and you're willing to do that for her, ask her what she's willing to do for you.

Sounds about right.
Father's Day and your birthday as a married dad = passive aggressive anger all day because she feels forced to try and do something for you and some gift that makes absolutely no sense.

Mother's Day - Inlaws come over, and I do all the cooking.

When I was married:
Mother's Day: Crawfish Boil, whole family comes over to swim and eat, party all night long.
Father's Day: I get an unsigned card at about 3pm in a Walgreens bag.
