Nah, that dude was an a-hole. He knew EXACTLY what that dad was saying, he just didn't give a single frick about it.
I don't think so. I think the dad was talking about the pads and the cashier was talking about the bag/dg.

Problem is the cashier didn't pick up on it so that he could explain his comment properly.

I guess i just don’t see why the “joke”, if you can even call it that, was something worth even kicking a guy’s arse over. Plus, the mom was in there too, so she would have been paying. So…he really said it to the mom. I could understand if he said “nice arse” or tried to get the girls’ social media info or something. But some weird shote about a bag and the neighbors? Doesn’t even make sense for all 3 to come out crying afterward.

I'd seen this video, and I always interpreted the cashier's comment to be about the pads.

It makes sense to me that neighbors might take notice of girls walking around with un-bagged feminine hygiene products. I do not see why they'd notice what exact sort of plastic bags people are carrying.

In fact, that seems like more of an OT inside joke... ha ha, look at the poor people with their dollar store haul. That is not a sentiment that's going to make sense to random suburbanites, particularly to young girls. The young girls in my life love dollar stores for their cheap, convenient nature.

Not sure I’d trust my first period to a Dollar General product.

Actually I'm now thinking that the clerk was talking about the bags, not the pads.

If so, then yeah this is a big misunderstanding.

I mean, so was WWI.

If you have to explain a joke about some aspect of a 12-year-old's sanitary napkin purchase, it's probably best not to make that joke.

LOL. They do sell major brand items at DG. I doubt there is a DG pad.

I think Food Club makes feminine hygiene products, but they're with the dog stuff.

The sentiment of some here (including me) is that it had nothing to do with the pad. It could have been a bag of cheetos, and if the clerk would have asked if you need a bag and the answer was yes, he still would have said "what would the neighbors think".

It seems like he's putting Dollar General down by asking what would the neighbors think if they see you getting out of your car with a Dollar General bag in hand.

And yes, it could be a shot at the customer too by implying how sad you were shopping at a Dollar General.

But in no way do I think that it had anything to do with the pads.

We need an update since this happened more than four years ago. How many teeth does the dad have left. Are the daughters pregnant yet. Has the clerk been arrested or has he ascended to the role of assistant manager?

100% done to get attention.

You keep saying this, and I'll ask again... what does he even look like? You'd think he'd put more than his fingertip and part of his arm in the video if he was looking to be recognized for attention.

They made mention of him saying creepy things all the time. That same joke with a bag of cheetos wouldn't elicit the complaints from customers that they claim he has plenty of.

If you post a video from your account, you are able to be recognized, even if your face and name isn’t in that particular video. Your face and name are able to be recognized from other videos, photos, and text from your same account.

The attention whoring dude filming the encounter? How much time is he spending hanging out in dollar general supposedly watching this guy? I’m still leaning towards all these people are fricking idiots.

So, you think he did it to go viral. I can agree with that. Since he didn't show himself on his own video, I assume he isn't looking to be on good morning america. What is obvious though, is that he wanted to make this guy famous, which makes complete sense to me. Let everyone see this guy as I confront him. Again, they claim numerous complaints have been made before.

It's odd to me that you are looking for ways to shite on the dad with no other context clues, but make an assumption about the joke being innocent even though he looks the way he does, speaks the way he does, wears what he is wearing, couldn't apologize, AND has been reprimanded for this multiple times for the same type of shite.

Are you a pedo supporter too?

Idk, maybe the community talks about the guy and has complained many times?

Q: "There's this creepy autistic brony with a dreamcatcher stapled to his shirt at Dollar General. He's been scaring young ladies and I'm going to confront him and his alluring female manager about it. Do you think that's worth filming?"

No one: "Nah, man, that sounds boring as frick. Maybe just film yourself trying to land water bottles in a specific way or dumping ice on your head for Steve Gleason."
