I jokingly asked if that was what the spot was for and he was completely oblivious to the nature of the question. He legitimately had no idea the spot was for a cop to come pick up shoplifters. He thought it was a courtesy for police officers to use on their shopping trips.
I see a fire truck parked in front now and then. It''s so if they get a call they can go direct instead of going back to the station.
