Supposedly, Barkley was a decent golfer, then he developed that hitch. He's working out of it now, but for a long time it plagued him.

Yeah, I went through that myself. I remember hitting laser-straight 5 iron shots almost 200 yards at City Park and thinking, yup, I've really got this golf shite figured out. Then I lost all feel for my grip and developed a tic where I released the club briefly at the top of my backswing.
