I don't think anyone is denying that both sides lie. The issue is that it's only acceptable for one side to do and calling out those lies on that particular side is basically heresy.

This is my issue. There is blatant hypocrisy from the media, politicians, academia, etc. when it comes to how each side responds to the accusations.
One side is expected to own their shortcomings. The other side tries to cancel or destroy you if you bring up theirs.
