The 3 said events, where some one said a guy yelled the N word, all off campus.
So again, since this is in Baton Rouge and the President has already opened up a can of worms, they will use this to piss off the White LSu fans, Alums, etc.

Ya it really doesn't, but i don't see the harm in the email.
Just a basic cover your arse that is probably somewhat necessary when there is a national story with racial implications in this day and age.

There was no arse to cover until he just stuck it out there. Not a single person in any of the shooting threads mentioned LSU. No local or national news station mentioned LSU.
He just opened up the school to everything, and the attention will now go to LSU because he brought it there. If this happened in Monroe, does he still need to say something? All it does is get people riled up and irrationally offended

That guy had a rap sheet and was a previous sex offender.
Did he deserve to die, from what I've seen so far... no.
But those NBR folks kill each other everyday, but a white cop does it and we need to put out a letter to quell the surge of racism with a reference to a terrorist attack.
