I have a 2014. About what does it cost to have the brakes changed?

I dont think the average human realizes how easy and inexpensive it is to do it yourself.

Especially just doing thebpads

Brakes & rotors, or just pads?

If it hasn’t been done, you’ll probably want to get new rotors.

All you’ll need to DIY is:
Tire tool
Jack & stands
Socket set
Open end/Box end wrences
Hammer
Screwdriver
Big C-clamp to compress pistons
New rotors
New pads

It’s about a 2 hour DIY job and would probably cost you around $350 - $400.

Lots of how to vids on youtube.

Or you can pay a shop about $650.

What about resurfacing to rotors and flushing the brake fluid?

You drive an F250 but can't do a brake job? Time to trade that in on a Prius. You're posing as a baw.

Changing rotors is even simpler...once caliper is off, changing the rotor should take less than 10 minutes.

Should only need 2 rotors (front) unless your a completely neglectful idiot

But go ahead, spend your grand for others to do. No big deal

Cost depends primarily if your rig has Fuels and Toyos.

You came to the right place. I’d say over 90% of the OT drives the F-250.

If it's rotors and brakes you're looking at $850ish

When I was a poor, I had to do all this stuff myself, couldn’t have afforded an F-250 back then. Now I could probably afford one but have no need so I stick with my little F-150. I pay people to do menial tasks like brake jobs.

Of course I don’t ask the OT what it’ll cost to do it either.

3/4 and 1-ton trucks come with thick arse rotors that can be turned. It's only like $15 per rotor. OEM stuff should last 100k with normal truck wear and tear

You can get a good look at a butcher's arse by sticking your head up there. But wouldn't you rather take the OT's word for it?
