Switch drivers and the Senna would have been in another zip code within 2 laps, even though that was a 1LE. I imagine a lot of some of us in this thread have been in the same situation, catch a supercar in the turns just to watch them drag our arse on the straights. Plus it isn't just skill, the Lambo/Macca/Ferrari driver as a little more skin in the game if they happen to go Armco hunting.
The track is Summit Point in WV on the VA line about 1 1/2 hours outside DC or Baltimore. They also have a really cool circuit called Shenandoah that has an exact replica of the N'ring Karussel.

I can imagine having a Senna on track for the first time isn't ideal to try and test the limits.

No question the Senna driver was out for a Sunday drive in a million-dollar car. He was 10 feet off the apex in a lot of the corners and left 7-8 feet of tarmac on the exit. With that sort of power to weight you should be able to really late apex. He was hammer down on the straights probably getting close to 180, they trap around 150 in the 1/4.
I would be so out of my depth I imagine someone could lap me in a Reanult Clio.

“I'd hope chevy engineered them in a way that basic, semi-routine maintenance items can be serviced without too much increased hassle.
Also, shout out to our camaro friend for showing up, challenging all the pussies in here to a race, and then leaving as soon as people said they wanted in on the action.”
Still here...had to travel for work. So...who wants some of this slow Camaro?

“K, what happened to BLKBEARd? ”
Waiting for these pussies to race.

“What is the race”. Not messing with you...I know you know you’re shite.
Race is a dig for 1/4 mile or 1000 ft...or 40 roll for a mile.

Borrow your mom’s Prius and let’s roll.

Am I missing that it´s still a GM product?

The gazillionaire I used to work for has both a Ford GT and buys a new Vette every other year.
He's also had a few Ferarris. He says the GT is the most amazing car he's ever owned

First of all, learn to quote properly. This pygmy shite you're doing is terrible.
Second, bring that ZL1 to the next CENLA SCCA event and let's see if you drive as well as you think you do.

The previous gen Corvette dusted that thing.

Sure didn’t dust it with style.

Yeah, I think the Senna driver was just being lazy.

Still a $10,000 bet?
you also said we could "set up the race", correct?

He lives in Trussville, AL so not that far to travel.
It is a long way home if you back it into the tire barrier coming out of a turn (don't ask me how I know

I mean, they really are completely different as far as style goes.
Just like the 911 now and the new Corvette. Chances are the same person isn't going to like both of those shapes.
The fact that Porsche is on the 7th gen (I think) of the 911
and is still instantly recognizable as a 911 is pretty impressive.

The interesting thing to see will be sales in Europe for the C8. I think the style changes may help that.
