Tell him the Black Death is upon us, we must sacrifice you for more TP. Your legacy will live on

Nah. I have a 4&6 yo. Told them it’s like the flu in the winter. We have to be very careful about germs so everywhere is closing to clean and to be cautious. We’re staying home to prevent others from getting sick and so that we won’t get sick.

Explain to your 4 year old what exponential growth is.

I also explained to my 2 year old how we need to decouple our supply lines from China.
The earlier the better.

I have a 9yo and 12yo, both with very high IQs. I'm a lucky dude.
Both think this is bullshite. Both have had the flu before and asked why we didn't shut the world down when everyone knew the flu was going around.
I just stopped the conversation there as best I could, and I refuse to let them watch any news media.

I seem to think about this daily. I don’t have kids yet but my plan is just treat and act towards my kids like my dad did with me.
I like to think I am pretty level headed and hard working. I’m also not a puss like most of my fellow millennials. My main concern is how I am going to teach my kids compared to what they are taught in schools.
I don’t want to be that dad that makes a big deal about shite that gets taught in schools but I also don’t want them thinking some of the stuff they are told is 100% truth.

Not yet. Schools here haven’t set anything up yet, and Ive been lazy finding something for them
My kid immediately transitioned to online class work. They already all had school provided iPads with their remote learning applications installed. It's still not the same as a regular school day though.

I told my daughter this is what happens when you don’t hold people accountable for their actions.
