Cool just got back from Harbor Shores, Arcadia Bluffs, the Warren at Notre Dame and Ballyneal. Golf up north is da shite.

Links style courses don't have trees. Heck English Turn and U Club don't have too many trees that come into play either.

True that. However, only for 5 months. LaTours' manicured blandness is playable all year round and is 30 minutes away from world class fishing grounds and the perfect escape from winter.

Agreed. Trees aren't necessary. But when u can see two major highways and a quizno's (which I love by the way) from pretty much any point on the golf course, it makes one wish that things were a bit more framed in. All this being said, I am almost certainly going to join once it is private, so it obviously doesn't bother me that much.
