Sounds like your condition is considerably different and not applicable to the OP's.

Paxil will interfere with the ability to achieve orgasm. My doctor lowered my dose of Paxil and started me on Zoloft. Once I was only on Zoloft, my libido surged and I was masturbating nearly everyday.

Paxil will add weight and lower testosterone levels in men. As I suspect most SSRI's

I take 40 mg of Celexa every day.I can't sleep without it.

I took Lexipro for a month or so.Made me feel bad.

I think the reason I have to take it is because a Doctor started me on an anti-depressant.When I stopped taking it I starting waking up after 2-3 hours and not being able to go back to sleep.

Celexa has no side effects that I have noticed.

Hope you get it straightened out.

Are you speaking about the testosterone under the skin pellet or are you being a smartass. Can't tell.

If not a smartass then to answer no.

I inject subcutaneous with a 31g 1/2" needle in my quads twice a week. Into the fat there and more often in smaller doses allows for a slower and steady release of the meds. I just have to warm up the vials in my hands a few minutes before injecting. Just take it slowly.

His entire point is to do research and be proactive with the doctor. Dipshit

I have an implant and it makes me feel like I’m 21. Much better than an injection. I do have to pay out of pocket. My T levels weren’t low enough to be diagnosed “low t” for a 35 yr old, so they wouldn’t give it to me through insurance. Much better than the needle.

Not initially. That was years later that surgery happened.

Much before that I tried all these different things before I went to a good Endo that listened. It's a doctor appt and blood work for the rest of the OPs life.

Tried Lexapro my senior year of college because of some serious anxiety I was having, and the most I got out of it was not being able to hold a piss and then brain zaps after I said screw that. My doc then moved me to Zoloft, and I don't remember any side effects, but I also am not sure how much of an improvement it was. My girlfriend at the time could probably offer a much better description of my state, because I was a mess just trying to hold everything together. When I was finally able to take hold of things on my own, started by being more proactive and hitting the gym(huge life improvement). I also ditched the SSRI's. It really just comes down to your subjective experience and whether they are helpful or not. I feel like society has kind of made everyone subconsciously expect life to always be in the "on" and "pleasant" position, but sometimes it just sucks for extended amounts of time and it's all part of it, whether you try dulling with antidepressants or not. Where I used to get bad anxiety over things, I've learned to mellow out and just weather the storm, which is something I think we all could learn how to do better.
