Experience with customizing polystone resin statues?

This doesn't seem to fit anywhere else on the site...
Short version is that have a Joe Burrow Bengals statue from the Danbury Mint, and I'm thinking of customizing it to an LSU version. From what I can tell, these statues are polystone resin.
Frankly, I have never attempted anything like this before, but it seems like I would need Apoxie Sculpt to fill in some areas of the uniform, a resin-specific primer, high quality acrylic paints, and a varnish to seal.
I would probably print decals for the LSU logo and tiger head on the helmet, but not sure about other aspects.
Do any of you have experience with something like this? Any tips? Airbrushing paint vs. brush painting? Etc?
I just thought this could be a fun project.

So you just have to paint over all the Kamala stuff?

You have not come to the right place.

Not sure what that means, but I don't think it would be a straight repaint. I could be mistaken, but there are some parts, like the pants for example, that may need to be altered along the sides. Same with the shoulder stripes on the jersey.

May need a generic "hobbies" board.

Full Disclosure, I had to google what a statue from Danbury Mint was. From what I can gather you have a 9" figurine essentially of JB in the Bengals and you want to paint his uniform? Why not just keep the JB one as is and find the cheapest Danbury Mint figurine there is on Ebay and paint a new uniform on that one, I doubt anyone will call you out on the facial features under the helmet.

Phrasing.

A good suggestion. The facial features are pretty spot-on for these though.

You really have a statue of another man in your house that's not Jesus, a relative or a former president?

Did you send back your Kamala statue?

Men play with dolls? Just ask for a new doll next Christmas?
