If you have a score of 800, you wouldn’t have to ask for a credit increase. You would have been given one without asking. I call bullshite.

I have a credit score of over 800, so does my wife. I make six figures (low end, no OT baller). I had to call several times to get the limit increased on our Kroger Rewards cc that we pay off every month without fail

It’s amazing that nearly everyone on this site has a credit score over 800. I sold cars for a few years in the early 2000’s and it was extremely rare to pull someone’s credit over 800.

This thread has been interesting.

I think the millennial vs Boomer thing is overblown. Most of the millennials I know are normal, hard working people just living their life like anyone else. Unfortunately, most of them also carry around a lot of student debt. That shite is awful. I personally went to a technical college and didn't accrue any student loans. I'm doing pretty well for a fit with no University education. It also helps that I married up

Mine has fluctuated between between 775 and 811 that last few months. I'm at 803 rn, up 35 points from just 2 weeks ago.

I was in the 750s ad's 760s for like 3 or 4 years pretty consistently and somehow rocketed up to a personal best 811 in February. No idea why, but I'm not gonna complain about it.

I’m at 775. But I don’t really have the credit history or accounts open to push higher. But I’m fine with it.

Anyone ever wonder how companies like Experian are able to collect all this information on you, even without you consenting?
