I have no issues with people being upset at what she's doing. She's a representative of the US playing abroad. She shouldn't be protesting what she's representing. It's hypocritical.

Why does the Left, (which you are absolutely not a part of in any way even though you agree with every leftist position on every issue, bc you are a pioneering intellectual with the heretofore unheard of theory that both parties suck) insist on pretending that we need a revolution?

My biggest issue with her is that she has allowed and encouraged her political views to become a larger story than the team and it has overshadowed their performance on the field.

ETA: I think you are being naive on how the team feels about this. There are two lesbians married on the team, plus Rapinoe and her nonsense. They also made her captain regardless of the ongoing issues Politically.
I’m going to make an assumption and say they want nothing to do with the current Admin, which is their right.
It’s a bit of bullshite though for a National Team IMO.
I’ll give her credit on the field so far though. She has been money it seems.
