Well, seeings as how my early career mostly consisted of telling drunk soldiers that it was time to leave the bar, yes.

Did you not get the fries out of the fryer in time and your manager yelled at you?

our office is 100% male. It's never gotten physical but a couple of times it's gotten to the point that someone has said lets take this to the warehouse. I've been involved in 0 of these instances.

Drank with my boss and another Sr. manager at a conference last year. I had only been here for a couple of months and didn't realize how big of a liberal they both are.

This was mid September and we started talking about the election after about 4 old fashioneds each...yada yada yada...I yelled at both of them and made everyone at the table uncomfortable.

Just tell Tron to get his arse back on the fry station. He isn't being paid to smoke weed and play dice in the break area.

Sounds like that's on you for not knowing how to navigate sensitive topics. Work on that.

About 10 years ago at a different job I got into a heated discussion about inventory levels with a coworker. He picked up a chair and threw it across the room. We got along fine before and after the incident.

not personally, but have seen some good ones.

First firm out of college, Divorced Dad low-level employee started hooking up with the milfy Newly Divorced Receptionist. After a couple of months NDR realized her Dun & Bradstreet value was way higher than DD when Client Executive started small talk & flirting. Then she started bangin' CE and told DD to "just be adults about this". Later at company happy hour, DD had a couple and decided to go off on her for "fricking Brad and everything else sight!"
Kind of killed the mood, fallout from that wasn't pretty.

I have seen some go down on job sites but have never been directly involved.

I think the best one is when one of the Project Managers was married to the office manager, the office manager started sleeping with another PM when her husband was out of town. Husband found out and divorced her. The philandering PM and Office manager keep hooking up and get married all while they are still working at the company. the divorced PM and the office manager start shacking up when the newly married PM is out of town. Newly married PM finds out and tries to run the divorced now philandering PM over with the company issued truck. At one point a gun was pulled and the police were called. CEO/Owner of the company was not a happy camper. The one PM who was almost ran over is now head of our service center and the other PM runs his own service company. Millwrights and mechanics can be kinda trashy sometimes.
