Had a set of golf clubs stolen out of the bed of my truck in college when I lived off bright side. This was over 10 years ago. Not surprising it's turned into what it is now. Those clubs were important to me and are no longer made

My apartment was burglarized when I was in college. They took my TV, x box, and back pack with text books and laptop in it. All in all it was probably only a couple thousand dollars worth of stuff, but that was a lot for me at the time as a poor college student.

I was at a movie theater today and some dipshit stole my Snickers bar after I left for a bathroom break. Of course it's just a Snickers bar, but it still pisses me off.

That reminds me of a bit that Dave Chappelle did in his For What It's Worth stand up. In the bit someone broke into his car and broke the window to steal a snickers out of it. Pretty funny bit.

ETA: Found it. "Chocolate bar" not snickers.

That sucks, same thing happened to a buddy of mine. He picked up a skank in a bar. We later found out she stole it for a guy we kicked out of our study group first semester. Guy never sat for the bar... We laid in the weeds and fricked em.

My drug addict little brother sold my first shotgun that my mawmaw gave me for Christmas. Wasn't expensive, but it had a ton of value too me.

Yes, flowers and mementos left by friends and family on my son's grave, not to mention the vases.

Ive had two stethoscopes stolen from me while at the hospital. At this point I just use the disposables around.

On the flip side, had my truck broken into for $10 and some change.... Left my xm radio, check book in my truck. Just someone looking for their quick fix I suppose.

My laptop stolen from law library the week before 1L finals. All my outlines gone....

That's terrible. I don't know how your law school was, but where I went people always passed around outlines. Everyone pretty much had the model outline for every class. We even had an outline bank for Journal where you could just download them if you made Journal. I would be pissed if someone stole my laptop from the law library where I went though. There are cameras everywhere though, so I don't think it would ever happen. People leave their stuff at their table while the go eat lunch and no one ever thinks twice about it.

Last Wednesday night some shite missles stole a pistol and my costas out my truck in my driveway the frigging time EVER I have accidentally left my truck unlocked. Even with my yard lit up like a prison yard...I'd let them have that gun and give them another if I could have 10min with those bastards...it'd be like the sonic parking lot over here. Bastards

Some arse wipe stole my golf clubs from my garage a few years ago. My neighbors were having a garage sale and I bet some lowlife flea market back swiped them. Pissed about losing my putter mostly. I won two boxes of Putt Putt trophies with that flat stick when I was a teenager.

After Ttown tornado I got back to my wrecked house and took as much as I could salvage in one trip, but for some reason left my lock box under my bed there.

Came back the next day and it was in the back yard with all of the collectors coins that I'd been gifted over 20 years were gone along with god knows what else. My passport and ss card were laying next to the box. frickers probably cracked the casing around the coins and just spent them. One of the things that I miss the most.

This reminds me of this dude who stayed in the same dorm as me Fall my freshman year. Apparently what this guy was doing was going to the library and waiting for people to go take bathroom/smoke breaks then he would swoop in and take their books that they left at the desk. He was selling the books back to the LSU book store for weed money. This was relatively early in the semester, and I do not know how many times he did it.

Anyway, one of the people from whom he had stolen reported his/her books stolen to the book store so that they could keep their eye out for any books that might pass back through. You can see where this is going. He goes to sell the stolen books back to the bookstore. The books that he is selling back get flagged as stolen. They tell him to wait there while they go to "check something in the back." They actually call the cops, and he is arrested.

Now here is where the hilarity ensues. This guy was not well liked regardless. He was pretty obnoxious and had already made some enemies around the dorm. There were a series of pranks pulled against him that year out of spite, but that's probably a story for another day. Anyway, whenever a crime is committed on campus it is documented in the Daily Reveille. His theft was no exception. So when the people around the dorm realized what he had done they took a big stack of Reveilles for storage, cut out the article detailing his crimes, and taped the article to the entrance to the dorms so that everyone entering would see the article as they entered the dorms.

We would be outside at the smoker's spot as he walked up to enter the dorm, he would mean mug us, and rip the article off the door. Then immediately after he entered one of my buddies would run up and tape another copy of the article back up to the door, making sure to rub the scotch tape to make sure it stuck. Just a minor justice boner, but I will always find it hilarious.
