I know of two women who had bulimia and went to a residential treatment center and overcame it.
Both are now very fat.
I don't see a good outcome for you either way.

You're not her doctor, there are no ramifications for telling her secret that are worse than her not getting help. Discuss this with her family for her sake and be prepared to lose her if that is the cost of doing the right thing. Otherwise, you are just rationalizing your own selfish behavior.

How long have you been with her? If it's less than a year, move on. A friend of mine dated a bulimic who also turned out to be a pathological liar. She's obviously not being honest with you. You can't be honest and have a disease like that. Unless she is willing to seek treatment, you have to let her go or prepare to be lied to until you do.

I have experienced this and it is not something that they ever completely overcome. It will be a lifelong problem for her. If she stops that for awhile she will replace it with something else destructive for a short period before returning to it again.thats what I learned while she was in a treatment facility for it.

Major issues with that chick. She'll start cutting herself and most likely has borderline personality disorder. She needs help before she gets involved with any kind of relationship.
