I spent only $70. I was going after a 1958 signed LSU football. I was first in line and when I grabbed the ball, I realized it was a cloth ball. They were asking $250. I passed.
Not a good day in purchases. When I was wasting my time checking out the football, the couple behind me got to the closest first, and found some great t-shirts.
$5 SuperSonics hat
$15 Revere wool sweater
For $50, I got the five watches. They all work except the Elgin

The Elgin is the most interesting watch in that group. I think you may have to work a bit to come out even on those.

I looked them up a little while ago. I should get $100 for the five watches. One may go up to $50, but never know

Elgin: The value is in watches marked "Lord Elgin."
Bulova, miltary academy award, and art deco do well

Sounds like you've got it all figured out and don't need any watch experts then.

I’d jizz on the hat.

It will be interesting to see how they do. You certainly don't "bomb"one very often. Seems like you are having fun, so if you do miss one, it is still a win for you.

I’m no watch expert. I know how to pick one up, shake it, tap it on my arm to get it to run. That’s about the extent of my expertise. I asked for the OT watch experts of the OT, to see if I have anything special. When I looked them up, I just searched the name and automatic. I searched lowest price sold. All the working ones sell for $20-$25 each. The Boluva and Gruen could get to $50 each, IDK.

Nothing special that I can see.

Whats the supersonics hat worth? It looks pretty clean. I'd figure some NBA collector would love that.

There’s one on eBay, they asking $90, but I think that’s far fetched.

I did find the near exact Elgin watch that sold for $90. Its a Elgin 554, 15 jewel. Mine is missing the crown, so I can’t wind it. The workings look prefect.

My earlier post had an error (interrupted while typing) - said "you bomb very often." when I meant to say "you don't bomb very often."
Sorry about that.
