My wife and I are going to do one with some children. Being that the youngest is 11, theyre too old to go do Disney. It's something they wanted to do.
We're doing one in Escape SF in San Fran this summer.

After like 5 minutes, our group decided to just hit random numbers. Bomb went off, and we got to leave.

Sounds like it was money well spent.

I've done 3 of these, they give you an hour to do them. They also let you have 3 clues if you get stuck. The ones I did, they were groupings of 4 to 10 people, depending on the type of room. They will stick you with other people you might not know to fill the room. One room we were stuck with a bunch of drunk idiots....

Buddy of mine did one as part one of a job interview. Nine other applicants were there, all did it together

I'd be pissed if they made me do that shite for a job. I suck at puzzles

Maybe they need someone who's good at them.

They probably did it to observe teamwork/leadership and communication skills.

Seems like it would be hard to decipher in that setting.

I've done two at the 13 th gate with 12/13 year olds.
The first one we made it all the way to the end and missed one step.
The second one was really hard and the kids really struggled with it, could have finished with more adults.
