I don't think anyone still remembered the video until this trial reminded us. Then we remembered it was blurry and not even worth fapping to.

Well, it sounds like she offered to settle for much less. My impression was she didn't want to go to court.
I feel like Marriott was pretty dumb here, especially after one of their witnesses was in a restaurant viewing the vid over lunch, during the trial.
