If I had his arrest record and died while resisting arrest I doubt my family would sue...I hope they wouldn't. The family should sue popeyes, Mcdonalds, and other FF chains for being a bigger factor in his death than the police that were trying to restrain a guy that was resisting arrest.

Just curious...how many people die at the hands of the police when they comply?

People act as if it is "white privilege." While I'm sure a certain bias does occur, the larger "privilege" is due to socioeconomic and cultural attitudes. If you were to do a regression that somehow isolated socio economic levels independent of race, I'd be shocked to find my point false

For example, a 'white' male with large number of tattoos and piercings is more likely to be hassled by a cop at a traffic stop than than a professionally dress black male.

It fits with criminal profiling in general. People who exhibit physical and attitude behaviors of groups with high crime rate (historically lower socio economic classes) are profiled by police at a higher rate.


I've never heard of a cop asking for a random drug search of a grandmother's car without legit suspicion but my friend says he regularly searches college kids cars because "odds are he'll find something"
