Center of business and commerce in New Orleans is out of power for at least 2 days, and, for all intents and purposes, not a peep mentioned on the news (as if this is or for the course). I wish they’d shine a light on the dysfunction.

It would be pretty hard to figure out where it starts or stops.

I was at the VA yesterday AM and was leaving. As soon I pressed the elevator button for the parking garage the power went out. Took the stairs and gtfo of there. What a shithole.

I have seen a drastic difference in reliability of power grid since beginning of 2020 in my area. I'm interested to see where it will be two years from now. I feel like I'm in the midst of a social experiment.

I didn't read all the responses here but nola.com said that an animal got into a substation yesterday. I assume they meant a homeless person.

Probably trying to keep it quiet so the criminal element doesn’t get wind of the outages and start looting the businesses and hospitals while their security systems are out of power.
