Entergy billing for December email

I get these emails from Entergy telling me how much is due in December, what am I missing? Seems way too early for these emails every month.

I just got the email about the new smart meter which according to my Nextdoor app will cost me about 350% more a month.

Has nothing to do withyour bill. It will allow you to see your usage more clearly online and allow Entergy to read your meter without employing meter readers.

My meter is read in the first few days of the month, but I’ve asked to be billed on the 20th.
So my meter was read on 10/3 for usage from 9/4-10/3 and was processed on 10/7. I’ll pay it on 11/20.
Given we’re another 10 days later, you might be on a similar cycle.
