there is a big arse ostrich farm somewhere up here in Millington.
i'm going to catch one of my friends drunk one time and convince them riding an ostrich would be a lot of fun.

My Dad wanted to get into it and I went with him to a farm that bred them. He changed his mind 10 minutes after being there. I still thought there was a market if the meat was good. That was over 20 yrs ago, and I was obviously wrong.

i think most of the meat finds its way to to pet food manufactures.
last year at the BBQ Festival, our exotic entry was an ostrich burger and I thought it sucked. it was too lean and dry. i suspect emu tastes similar to ostrich.

The emu was on its way to enroll in a nearby community college.

I've heard good things about Emu...maybe it's about how it's prepared/cooked. I was intimidated with the Emu's running up to me, I would have probably shite my pants if it was an Ostrich.

It did, and the Community College taught it about capitalism. The emu now refers to himself as Emu
Yeah, this post makes as much sense as the original post.

The Emu's mother stated in an interview that he "was a good boy" and his five children and three mothers of his children have retained the services of a local attorney.

I've eaten emu meat in Australia. Pretty tasty.
