Would these students have felt the same way if "Feel the Bern" had been written in chalk all over campus instead? Probably not. So what these students are upset by isn't political speech, it's political speech they disagree with.
Nailed it. These delicate snowflakes are in for culture shock once they leave their safe spaces. Such pussies

"Yesterday I received a visit from 40 to 50 student protesters upset by the unexpected chalkings on campus sidewalks and some buildings yesterday morning, in this case referencing Donald Trump. The students shared with me their concern that these messages were meant to intimidate rather than merely to advocate for a particular candidate, having appeared outside of the context of a Georgia election or campus campaign activity. During our conversation, they voiced their genuine concern and pain in the face of this perceived intimidation."
frick these fricking fricks

Nice article. Thanks for posting. He pretty much nails it. I would be embarrassed to be affiliated with Emory. How delicate and fragile are these kids? Damn

What is truly alarming is that this is not an isolated occurrence. It is becoming more accepted as SOP on college campuses...where "our feelings matter more than yours". The "intellectuals" are full of shite, and their "goal" of diversity and inclusion is just an excuse to further polarize and exclude. I hope there are still enough young folks out there who don't blindly buy into this horseshite. We are doomed as a country if something doesn't change.
So....Hope & Change, I guess.

fricking unbelievable that school administrations keep caving to stupid shite like this. And the idiot students are too stupid to realize that they're convincing more people to vote for Trump.

Your jimmies are rustled by Emory kids.

This. The normal response from a university president would be similar to this response to the Winklevoss twins in The Social Network.

Instead, this was the response:

Emory University: We Will Use Security Cameras to Track Down and Possibly Punish Students Who Chalked Their Support for Trump

If Emory really does punish students for expressing support for any Presidential candidate, they will get sued with a swiftness.

To be fair, if you surveyed every student at Emory, I'd bet that a vast majority would think these "offended" students are ridiculous and pathetic.
The issue isn't that college students are pussies. The issue is that colleges and universities bend over backwards for a select few who get "offended" over the dumbest stuff thus giving off the image that every student is an entitled arse.

Oglethorpe is terrible at everything. Emory is a liberal school, which is fine 99% of the time. This is the 1% where students show their short-sightedness.

Who wrote the article is not the issue.

Actually it is. That doesn't excuse the fact that a minority of Emory students need to grow a backbone.

Makes me nervous to know that one day my children will have to go to one of these universities.
