Elton John cancels sold out concert 20 minutes after start time because his ear hurt

Elton John postpones Orlando show — 20 minutes after it was supposed to start
An ear infection led Elton John to cancel his Orlando show on the “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” tour Tuesday night.
About 20 minutes after the Amway Center show was scheduled to begin, it was called off over the arena’s public address system.
Amway Center officials said the show will be rescheduled for a later date and told fans to hold onto their tickets. Wednesday’s show at Amalie Arena in Tampa has also been canceled.
“We thought it was a joke, we didn't think it was real,” Krupinski said. “So did the people behind us.”
Her parents, Carol and John Krupinski, drove from Jacksonville to see the sold-out show.
“I want my $20 back for parking, but I’m pretty sure they’re not going to do that,” Carol Krupinski said.

Went to one of his shows a few years ago and was really impressed how that old fricker played for like 2.5 hours straight with no break. He put on a great show.

I would imagine it’s difficult to put an ear piece in if you have an infection. Not to mention the noise from performing.
Give the guy a break. I’d rather an artist reschedule than perform a half arse shortened concert.

My point is that Amway is not exactly the most prestigious brand.
