He left COVID policy to the states,

Not really, his administration was advising states' responses to COVID, namely through Pence and the President's Coronavirus Task Force.
quote:

All you have to do is look what the democrat states did compared to Texas and Florida.

You mean like,

"Today during his 4:30 p.m. COVID-19 Press Conference, Governor Ron DeSantis recommended all school districts in Florida remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year."

...and, "Mar 23, 2020 — Texas schools will remain closed for the remainder of this school year, Gov. Greg Abbott announced Friday at a news conference."

...or, "Gov. Greg Abbott orders Texans in most counties to wear masks in public. Abbott previously resisted calls for such an order and at one point banned local governments from requiring masks. First-time violators will be issued a warning, though repeat offenders could be fined up to $250."?

Let's not forget what was actually happening under Trump, and not just projecting onto Biden.

allergic to state’s rights

That's because there's no such thing as "states' rights".
Can you please point to anywhere in the Constitution that refers to state governments, or any governments, as having "rights"?

I can't imagine any of our founding fathers as recognizing a government as having "rights". Governments have powers, people have rights (and powers).

All the downvotes in OPs post are funny. It’s as if some people don’t want Elon to release Twitter documents.

Pence proved to be a traitor. He's no better than Fauci.

You are really going to sit here and compare democrat states/cities responses to COVID to Republican states/cities.

Just shut the frick up. You aren’t fooling anyone and at this point you seem like a troll.

Stop fricking up this thread. It’s about Fauci funding gain of function research. You want to discuss that?

Again, this is a small window in time. You’re citing a 2 month window in which the entire world was acting this way due to lack of resources and knowledge of the situation.

Fast forward to summer and you saw red states forcing schools to open while blue states stayed remote, many not opening until 2021 calendar year, though it was clear by the data that kids were not a real health risk within a few months of those March panic decisions.

First you say:
quote:

All you have to do is look what the democrat states did compared to Texas and Florida.

And then...
quote:

You are really going to sit here and compare democrat states/cities responses to COVID to Republican states/cities.

Just shut the frick up.

Good one, you got me.

With you? You gotta be kidding.

Even the staunchest progressives would admit the COVID policies in red and blue states were wildly different.

Only a mental midget like yourself would try to compare anything Texas/Florida did with what states like New York/California did.

I hope Fauci recommends the next booster as an enema so he can frick you twice with one shot.

Harris County was very restrictive due to Dora the Explorer and Turner wanting to keep everyone at home.

Jonesie can you summarize this Elon/Fauci tiff in a couple of sentences? I know it's Covid dis/misinformation related but what is the major 'crime' Fauci is being accused of here?

From everything I've been able to gather so far, perjury. Lying to Congress under oath about funding gain-of-function research (which is a big no-no).

10th Amendment

I'm in Nueces county

At the beginning of the pandemic the only stores allowed to operate were the big box stores like Lowe's, HEB, Walmart

Any small local businesses were completely shut down. I'm talking about things like boutiques, the entire mall, any small mom and pop store essentially. They weren't even allowed to operate on a to go only basis at the beginning.

Restaurants were held to 25% capacity for a fairly long time. All bars were shut down for months unless they had a license to serve food also. There was a brief period around May that they opened bars up again but that was short lived. I want to say it was September or October of 2020 before they were allowed to open again and that was still with restrictions.

I highly doubt your fever dreams will come true. More likely about Frontline Doctors and HCQ getting deemphasized in searches.

This is probably correct. Does anyone remember what happened to bird flu during the O years? Covid would have been memory holed as well to not make a D look bad if they were in charge.
