your definition of parenting and morals is not the universally accepted one right?

Forgive me for believing that keeping food from a child is punishment.

you're still spinning this to make it look like your opinion is the universally accepted one.

I really wish the sorry reporter in this story had asked the parents what their children ate for breakfast and dinner that day?

Food was never kept from me. Was my arse whipped with a wooden spoon, yes. Would my mother smack my mouth if she knew the way I talked to people online, damn right. But keeping food from a kid is a different story.

Why is food, keep in mind we're talking about one meal here, so sacred? You're trying to make it out as if I'm withholding oxygen from my children.

Yep i also wish the reporter would have been more dilligent in reporting how long in advance parents were notified...specifically he should have investigated the lengths the school took with the parent quoted in the article.

This just turned on you..My apologies...Back to the story, and local things I see all the time, sometimes this is the only meal they do get..Until you see it from that perspective, it won't sink in

This is exactly what he's going for. Eat three meals a day or face certain death.

Why is this the only meal they sometimes get? Why are you not asking the deeper questions? Scared to get to the root of the issue here?

You have to see this as THE MEAL FOR A DAY, not one of three

why are you putting the school on the hook to feed them? The tax payers? shite,I'm all for a fund being set up by individuals at school for indigent children but why are you advocating tax payers foot the bill to feed them?
