I've been using an electric razor since my heart attack in 2004. I'm on blood thinners so any nick will bleed profusely. I do not get nearly as close a shave as with a blade, but at 80 years old, my whiskers are gray, and the stubble left over hardly shows.

I do, but I don’t have a heavy beard. Works fine for me.

I use electric because I feel like I look 16 when I shave all the way down with a razor. I prefer the stubble look

For some reason, my terminally ill father-in-law wanted a new one on his deathbed. I inherited when he died and it'll probably remain in the box in my vanity until I die. Gillette Mach 3 for me please.
