CNN is on it, queuing up the the anti-gun debate, whereas FoxNews will be attacking mental health and quite possibly border patrols.

How you think the media decides which “active shooters” are worthy of alerts? 197 killed in Baltimore and not an alert yet.

Wasn't Antifa supposed to descend on El Paso?

That's not for a few more weeks (I think sometime in September).

This is horrible. I'm in El Paso at the moment and was at The Fountains of Farah when we found out about the active shooter. I'm really shocked and can honestly say, I'm a bit freaked out.

Indeed horrible, thankfully you and yours weren't there. Natural to be freaked out, but the odds are back in your favor. Unfortunately, the victims not so much, and I hope medical takes care of them the best they can.

I've seen someone say it was someone at the Walmart and someone else write that it was two shooters with one at Walmart and one in the mall. In that account, she said the other was in the JC Penney. This is I've seen video on MSNBC which showed people being talked to by (I guess) a manager and another video of them being evacuated.

The one victim photo I saw (thanks a-hole on twitter ) showed someone at the Walmart.

@EPPOLICE
Scene is still Active. We have multi reports of multiple shooters. Please avoid area police conducting search of a very large area. Media staging will be given when area is secure.

If true, seems like the rifle is becoming a more popular choice lately.
