That's why it's laughable when people pretend to know what they're talking about just to go along with a thread. In this case, nothing could be further from the truth but it was presented as an anecdotal fact. Their literal interpretation of every standard ever is the bane of my business existence but the one place I appreciate it is at the airport.

59 passengers is a light load for an A320. It would be interesting to know if that's normal for this flight, or if they had a bunch of last minute cancellations....
