So they have been out there for less than one week and you're throwing a fit?

Ah yes, expecting paid service providers to perform timely duties within a prescribed time frame (per said provider) is "throwing a fit." I would call that wanting people I pay to handle their business.

You sound like a Karen. We pay $35/month for unlimited trash removal for the entire city. You can always pay someone to haul it off.

They don't run those trucks with the claws by every house once a week. I'd assume they take notes where it's needed and add to a schedule.

You have a fire pit? Start chucking them in there. That's what I did with a ton of pinestraw the last few years. Drug it to the middle of the backyard and torched it.

You're correct. That is why, if they don't pick it up on your "heavy trash" pick up day, you call 311 and a friendly operator (seriously) will give you a service order # and a date it will be picked up.

This has never been an issue in the past, much less needing to talk to environmental services for an inspector to come out. I'm not a Karen for wanting the garbage picked up at my house.

Clearly some rules have changed, and I need to be better informed next time. Thanks to all who gave advice.

How much waste are we talking about?

What’s the specific reason they won’t pick it up?

I think you’re leaving info out.

I took a pretty big tree down. Called 311 and the inspector came out. Told me the dimensions I need the tree to be in. Failed first time, but after cutting the limbs up they came back and got them. Simple and easy process, don’t make it a big deal.
