Couldn't the mayors in Zachary and Baker call their own curfew?
That'd be too much like right

Agreed. You are right.
Let's just suspend the 4th Amendment, maybe the 5th Amendment too.
It will make law enforcement so much easier. Screw the people.

If you owned a business or had boats and 4 wheelers or other property at your house that you had to evac from you would appreciate the curfew. Its a way to cut the dindus off at the knees for merely walking around.

what are you really mad about?
Posted on 8/16/16 at 5:21 pm to Ed Osteen
People who give away their rights and don't care about them.
They are more worried about short-term - should be insured items - like 4-wheelers and jet skis made in China.
They piss on hard-earned rights that people fought and died for that short-sighted politicians are more than happy to take.

It's a temporary deal.until flooding goes down. It protects essential personnel and citizens

Well I'm just glad you aren't being dramatic about it

Yeah. So was 9/11.
Look at all the 'temporary' right abuses the so-called Patriot Act brought you.

If you don't respect your rights, you don't deserve them.

And I am sure you are typing this from the comfort of your post in Afghanistan?

I'd have insurance on those items, which are likely ruined anyway from flood waters.
Family heirlooms are in a lock box that I would have taken with me when I evacuated

Thing are not "normal" on the streets just yet, not all crime is is reported on the news. Pick of a bottle of Jack Daniels and go home and drink until things calm down in a couple of days.
