This is actually kinda funny. The "English Language" is probably the most bastardized amalgamation of other languages on the planet. Old English, Middle English and Modern English are all very different from each other, and evolution of the language is constant.

Modern English differs from country to country, as the English spoken in Oxford's Received Pronunciation is going to be a little different than you'll find coming from the great orator Phyllis, of Mulga, Alabama.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do. When in the company of those who prefer AAVE, don't expect standard conjugation unless there is a prison trailer present.
