Eating food that might be a little spoiled but drinking 80 proof at the time

Would the alcohol kill the stuff that would make you sick? No I am not doing it, just curious.

no.

but the alcohol would keep your liver busy, and you might need it to digest with. the better you can process the off-food, the better.

no need to handicap you.

a little off is about bacteria.
you don't always win those when it hits a threshold, and some are quite uncomfortable even if you win eventually.
drinking hard liquor too is a .....

I left my court bullion out for 3 hours last week. Brought it to a boil again and then put it in the fridge. Wife wouldn't eat it the next day. More for me.

Haha, 3 hours? I've eaten lunch that was left out at midnight. I've eaten supper that was left out for lunch the next day.
