Actually, there are a lot of GM trucks from that era on the road with >300k miles on the odometer. Mine is still running like a champ. Parts are cheap if something breaks. Extremely easy to work on. Has pretty much every option a lot of newer vehicles tout. It's gonna be on the road until the frame falls in half.

I-10 is open. I just drove both directions. Traffic is backed up past Pecu for the rubberneckers looking at the airplane.
