Girls no matter the age will always be the hardest to raise. You will always instinctively want to watch over them no matter what. They will cry the most, they will want the most attention, etc.

couldn't disagree more, I have one of each. My girl sits and colors and listens to us. My boy is constantly climbing and getting into everything and doesn't hardly listen. Love them both.

So true. My 3 year old has been known to weep when she doesn't get her way. Not cry; weep. Big, silent tears, quivering lip, resigned pout.

At 2, we'd ask which shirt she wanted to wear, and she'd say, "blue. Like my eyes." Then smile and bat her long lashes to say, ain't I cute? She is and she knows it.

I have a son and two daughters under age 7. One daughter is super easy, the son and the other daughter are both... challenging.

absolutely. That girl is also the smartest one. I have a nice college fund for her and a few bail funds for the other 2.

This. It's horrid.
Luckily mine potty trained fairly early because this was terribly uncomfortable

So the twins that were born when you had a boy who was anywhere from 10-23 months old are the more difficult of the two sexes?

I think the closeness in age and being twins may warp your opinion a tad.

When you are changing a boy's diaper, there is no concern for how to wipe. When changing a girl's diaper, you have to know how to wipe or there will be an infection. That's 3 years of greater trouble right there. Then you have to train your girl how to wipe while potty training. And even if you do all that correct, there will still be some urinary tract infections.

While true, this is small potatoes in the grand scheme of things. You worry about how to wipe your daughter for all of about 5 minutes.

Each of these are back-to-back answers, not necessarily replies, to the OP:

quote:

Boys.

To answer the OPs question, I think it is girls.

quote:

bullshite. Girls by a mile

Boys hands down

quote:

Well, since I had my son circumsized I would say boys are easier.

My daughter and two nieces are cakewalks compared to my two nephews.

quote:

Girls no matter the age will always be the hardest to raise

No question, girls are much easier from 0-12

quote:

I have a boy (7) and a girl (5), and by far the boy has been easier

so at a young age...girls are easier

I've always heard boys are easier. My parents had four boys and I have 2 myself.

I have 2 girls age 10 and 13. My oldest has been no problem. My youngest is an emotional roller coaster. I'm sure it's only gonna get worse.

I just came to say that I find it is disgusting that in 2016 all of you people are making broad assumptions about a child's behavior based on gender when the child doesn't even know what gender it will be until it reaches the age of reason and makes it'a choice. It's like you people aren't living in the real world, get with it.
