Phonograph invented by Thomas Edison I'm guessing sometime in 1870s/80s or near then. Bunch of old Victorian dudes get drunk and speak into a phonograph. Funniest quote from the video is "I am both in awe and terrified of this invention. In awe from how great it is. Terrified because of how much bad music can now be recorded." What surprised me most is that the vast majority of the words they use are still similar to today's words. Not a significant change in words. First words are around 12 minute mark. Narrator takes a while to get there.

I call the next video, the original "Meet Me at Sonic 1896"

Here's a Dual in 1896. We think people get way too hinged online, but to be so hinged that you agree to line up 15 ft from another man, and whoever shoots on target 1st wins, the other dies. Over an argument haha. People have always been this way. Violent crime has actually dropped significantly since late 90s in US, right around the time internet became popular. Maybe letting your demons out online prevents it in real life.

I have a question from those who send their kids to public Louisiana high schools (mostly North LA would do that), but do the schools now issue laptops for each student for them to take home and basically own for the time they are there?

Not true

In my youth we had roughly 60K works in use, now we are down to about 20K. We have dumbed down the English language beyond belief.

It would appear that in the duel video the doctor lit a match and stuck it in the guys ear?

I did some digging on YouTube and there’s one video that says this is a reenactment. Still not sure about that.
EDT: it is a reenactment. One of the first short films.
