I'm too lazy to read the thread so apologize if already answered. You need to keep your ear dry. The most important treatment is the drops but also finish you oral antibiotics as prescribed. Most perforations heal on their own but you need to see an ENT (ear, nose and throat) surgeon in a few weeks to check you eardrum and make sure it has healed. Unless another ear surgeon has chimed in on this thread take my advice on this one.

I had the surgery done when I was about 10. One ear was always getting infected as a kid and it ruptured at some point. The skin graft was from the back of my earlobe. It aches for a few days after, but wisdom teeth gave me more fits than the graft

Thanks for the info. I’m in my 40’s and my ENT recommended I just roll with it unless it becomes too much of a problem. I don’t really swim or anything so it hasn’t been a huge problem.
