Newsflash

This kind of thing could still happen even if the park was fully staffed.

Do those stumps look like they were cut by an axe? No, they don't.

Not to mention the reports of trash all over —- it’s not that hard to pick up after yourself.
How long have been gone from La.? People here always throw their trash on the ground.

I stopped picking up the trash in the road ditch where I live because everyday after I did there was fresh trash. It's almost like Louisianians go, "Look! A clean spot! Quick, throw some trash!". There's always a McD's label in my ditch, the nearest McD is over 20 miles away!

I'd just rather have the parks fully staffed again. That isn't too much to ask.

Was this a magic elf tree cutter? That cut is about 6 inches off the ground. Who swings an axe that low?

Maybe Yao Ming cut this one down ....

Obviously Mexicans coming across the border to cut down our Joshua Trees. We need a wall.

I'm hoping some teens throw several gallons of detergent in the Old Faithful fountain. That would be funny.

Can you come up with a better reason than pictures of random fallen trees?

I wasn’t aware that government employees were holding a large group of random tree cutters at bay all these years

This tree doesn't look like it was cut down.

That first tree was not cut down. Looks like when a pine tree in my yard gets blown down. How long has that been down.

I was in Joshua Tree last weekend and the park was empty for the most part. I heard all of the reports about trash not being picked up but it looked just like it had the previous times I had been there.
