I lost everything I owned, and financially more if you want to look at it that way, and I still can't believe what those photos show. I didn't take photos of my trash pile, but it was pretty epic. shite still comes out if the ground where I had it.

Wow, that's a shocking photo. I had a bigger trash pile than you though (unless you cleaned your shite out of the trees in a couple mile radius). I'm in BSL and ~24ft above sea level, hence the no flood insurance at the time, so I still had a house. It was after the storm and remains to be wreck of one though. It's got character is what they'd say I'd suppose.

I believe it. I was close enough to the beach that the trash line actually stopped 100 yards further inland, it simply just wiped my place off the map and kept pushing the big debris to the north, so there wasn't much to clean up, other than what you see.
